General data use & privacy
Most website visitors will enter and leave this website without providing any Personal Information (defined here as data that would allow someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name and e-mail address). We use cookies to passively collect Non-Personal Information (defined here as Personal Information that has been rendered anonymous) as described below. All data on this website are processed based on current laws and regulations (GDPR/DSGVO).
Personal Information we collect
If we ask for Personal Information, we only use that data for the specified cause. By filling out forms on this website, you grant use of your Personal Information for the intended purpose and for no further purposes. We will not give, rent, or sell your Personal Information to others.
Personal information is stored in a spreadsheet on the Squarespace platform. Net Zero Lab administrators have access to that document for preparing email and marketing campaigns. Personal information is stored in perpetuity, but you can opt out of communication through our email marketing software.

When accessing our Site, Squarespace uses cookies to log your IP address, access URL, time of access, geographic location, browser type, and referral URL in order to provide us with internal information regarding Site traffic statistics. This information is used in the aggregate, and is never linked back to any Personal Information. How Squarespace protects your data
Squarespace has a security team dedicated to keeping personal information safe. They maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards that are intended to appropriately protect against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse and any other unlawful form of processing of, any personal information in our possession. They employ security measures such as using firewalls to protect against intruders, building redundancies throughout the network (so that if one server goes down, another can cover for it) and testing for and protecting against network vulnerabilities.
