Ben launches his book “Race to Zero” in German parliament

Ben Probst and Marian Krüger present their new book “Race to Zero”

We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of our book, Race to Zero, which took place at an extraordinary venue—the German Bundestag! Thanks to the Deutscher Verband für negative Emissionen e.V. (DVNE), we had the opportunity to present our book as part of a parliamentary breakfast focused on Negative Emissions, held in Berlin. The event brought together policymakers, corporate leaders, investors, and CDR (carbon dioxide removal) startups, all united by the goal of advancing climate solutions.

Ben Probst and Marian Krüger discuss the book with CDR entrepreneurs

The morning kicked off with a brief introduction to Race to Zero, giving attendees a glimpse into our journey of creating the book and the essential insights it provides on carbon removal technology and policy. We then joined an insightful panel discussion alongside CDR founders Antje Bulmann, Magnus Drewelies, and Fabian Sperling, who shared their unique perspectives on the state and future of CDR innovation.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for the launch and to Stefan Schlosser and his team for hosting such an impactful event. Moments like these—where ideas are exchanged, and partnerships are forged—are key to pushing the conversation forward on achieving net-zero through durable carbon removal solutions.
